Strategic communications and retention initiatives modernizing engagement for a global leader in sexual health.

Summer 2025
Marketing & Graphic Design Intern
Leader on 25-Intern client retention team

Context

AHF sought to strengthen client retention and engagement by modernizing communication strategies across social media and internal channels. The initiative addressed both external messaging for Gen Z audiences and internal materials aimed at reinforcing organizational identity.

Challenge

Legacy health organizations often struggle to balance institutional expertise with modern, relatable communication. The project needed to modernize messaging without losing credibility—making sexual health content accessible and engaging while supporting staff alignment and retention.

Insight

Retention is built on relationships and relevance. By translating sexual health education into approachable, humorous, and educational content for social media—and reinforcing internal culture through tangible materials—the organization could strengthen connections with both clients and employees.

Strategy

Social Media: Developed Gen Z–focused campaigns that made sexual health information accessible and engaging through relatable content.

Internal Merchandise: Designed and produced 2,000 units of staff materials to reinforce organizational identity and morale.

Leadership: As a team lead on a 25-intern retention group, I presented marketing strategies directly to the AHF president, contributing to high-level strategic discussions.
