affordable community art classes in one of my favorite places in LA. ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, jewelry + more. 

CORITA ART CENTER

an archive + art center dedicated to Corita Kent, with exhibitions, tours, workshops + opportunities to make things through her approach to art. their Connect and Create workshops are free with reservation.

one of the largest collections of LGBTQ+ materials in the world, with archives spanning queer history, art, activism + culture. an incredible resource for research + digging into the past.

ONE INSTITUTE

an independent queer cultural organization producing exhibitions, public programs, education + events that bring LGBTQ+ history into conversation with contemporary art + culture.

LA LGBT CENTER

beyond its services, the Center has performances, exhibitions, screenings, community events + cultural programming centered around LGBTQ+ stories and creative expression.
